Comissioned by Fairtrade Netherlands, this photo assignment documents the work from the "Coordinadora Latinoamericana y del Caribe de Pequeños (as) Productores(as) y Trabajadores(as) de Comercio Justo (CLAC) , FEDECOCAGUA, ACODIHUE and FECCEG in Guatemala. Coffee cooperatives are the organizations that gather smallholder coffee producers and provide additional benefits like training, capacity building, supervision and support so that farmers can comply with the Fairtrade coffee system.
